Waterford FC will bid to move eight points clear at the the top of the Airtricity League First Division this evening.
The Blues face third place UCD at the Belfield Bowl, and a win would see Waterford move ten points clear of tonight’s opponents.
Waterford returned from the mid-season break with a comfortable 3-nil win over Cabinteely last Friday.
This is the third meeting between the two sides this season. Waterford recroded a 2-nil win at the Belfield Bowl in early March, while it finished 1-all when the sides clashed at the RSC.
The Blues are currently five points clear of 2nd placed Cobh Ramblers, Cobh don’t play until tomorrow evening when they host Shelbourne.

Waterford goalkeeper, Matthew Connor kept a clean sheet last week, he says tonight and next week’s game which are both away from home will be a tough test.
