An Rinn pulled off a surprise 0-16 to 2-4 victory over Ballinacourty in round two of the county senior football championship at Fraher Field last night.
The underdogs outscored their opponents by nine points to one in the second half to progress to the last four. Two Mark Ferncombe goals left Courty 2-3 to 0-7 in front at the break but Fearghal Ó Cuirrín kicked four points from play on the restart as An Rinn ran out deserving winners.
