The Taoiseach says many people feel Waterford has been neglected and has fallen behind and it’s not hard to understand why.
Speaking at a jobs announcment in Bausch and Lomb yesterday Leo Varadker says he is determined that Waterford will grow.
He says it makes sense and while Government will help it has to be a joint effort.
The Taoiseach also says that if a review into cardiac services shows a second cath lab is recommended in Waterford it will be done and financial provision will be given to staff it.
Leo Varadker welcomed the all party motion agreed recently calling for a national review into cardiac care to be expedited, which he said it will be.
He said the regional review will take place after the mobile unit has been in place for some time.
