Waterford senior hurlerTadhg De Burca's appeal has been unsuccessful.
The GAA's DRA panel rejected his appeal to his one-match suspension.
The debate went on until close to 1am this morning.
The decision means that the Clashmore clubman will not line out for Waterford against Cork in Sunday's All-Ireland semi-final.
