The Tipperary village beat off stiff competition from 870 other towns and villages across the Country.
Category winners include Clonakilty, Co Cork which was named Ireland’s Tidiest Small Town.
Westport, Co Mayo received the award of Ireland’s Tidiest Large Town, while Ennis, Co Clare was again declared Ireland's Tidiest Large Urban Centre.
As well as scooping the overall award, Birdhill was also named Ireland’s Tidiest Village.
There were also honours for a number of areas in Waterford.
Lismore finished just four points off overall winners Birdhill in the Gold medal category, and was also named County winner.
Ballymacarbry, Ardmore and Stradbally all featured in the silver medal category with Ardmore coming Highly Commended for it's performance.
