Some of the closures that remain in place this afternoon include the Monatray Road, Kilgreany/Scart Road, Ballylemon to Glendog Road and Kilnafrehan Road in Dungarvan, as well as the Glendine and Tallow Hill Roads in Lismore West,
A number of roads near Boola, Ballinatray, Cherrymount, Knockanore & The Pike are passable, however there have been reports of hanging trees and branches against overhead wires.
Meanwhile there have also been a number of closures in the Comeragh Area.
They include The road to Touraneena from St. Mary’s GAA field and approach road to Touraneena, the road from Harney’s Cross to Tickincor, the Coast Road at Woodhouse and the Glenpatrick Road.
Many other roads, including the Road at Dunhill Upper are passable but people are being asked to drive with extreme caution.
