Water tankers rolled out across Waterford

Water tankers will be in place in a number of locations throughout County Waterford on Wednesday afternoon.

Irish Water say progress is being made on reconnecting water supplies.

At the worst point since storm Ophelia 90 schemes had lost water affecting 20,000 people, currently 30 schemes are down with 2,800 people affected.

Tankers and standpipes are now in ten locations throughout Waterford to supply people who are still without water.
