Water tankers will be in place in a number of locations throughout County Waterford on Wednesday afternoon.
Irish Water say progress is being made on reconnecting water supplies.
At the worst point since storm Ophelia 90 schemes had lost water affecting 20,000 people, currently 30 schemes are down with 2,800 people affected.
Tankers and standpipes are now in ten locations throughout Waterford to supply people who are still without water.
These locations ARE
-GAA Pitch Tallow
-Monadia Housing Estate in Rathgormack
-The Church at Touraneena
-Cul Rua Housing Estate in Aglish
-Carrigeen GAA Pitch
-Church at Killbrien
-Faha Pumphouse in Kilmacthomas
-School at Strancalley
-National School at Ballycurrane
-and in Stradbally
Irish Water advises people drawing water from these sources to boil the water before use.
He said they hope to have all schemes connected as soon as possible, but in a lot of cases they are reliant on the power being restored first.
