Ballygunner and De La Salle contest Co. Senior Hurling Final this afternoon

Ballygunner will be seeking their first four-in-a-row when they renew their rivalry with De La Salle in this afternoon's Co. Senior Hurling Championship Final at Walsh Park.

The Gunners have had another impressive march to the decider but were pushed all the way by Lismore in last weekend's semi-final where late points from Conor Power and J.J. Hutchinson gave Fergal Hartley's charges a narrow win.

De La Salle are appearing in their first County Final since 2012 and had a point to spare over Passage in last weekend's hard fought last four clash.

Gunners defender Wayne Hutchinson says it's always a special event when the two City teams face off, while De La Salle and Waterford captain Kevin Moran says today's final has been a "long time coming" for his side and that they're looking forward to taking on the reigning champions.
