The Lismore House Hotel has been placed on the market with a guide price of 1 and a half million euro.
The 29 bed hotel which is 220 years old this year was constructed in the late 18 hundreds to accomodate guests of the Cavendish family at Lismore Castle.
The hotel underwent significant renovation in 2006, but has been closed for the past few years.
David Reynolds, from Sherry Fitzgerald Reynolds in Dungarvan who are overseeing the sale says it's a fantastic property and that there's been expressions of interest coming from parties in Ireland and further afield.
