Waterford venture fund announces investment into motor tech company.

A Dublin motoring tech company is to benefit from 1 million euro in funding from a Waterford-based venture capital fund.

Pro-Vision Vehicle Cameras, which was launched in 2016, received the significant investment from Suir Valley Ventures, which is fronted by Waterford entrepreneur Barry Downes.

Speaking at the recent Crystal Valley Tech conference at the WIT Arena, Pro-Vision CEO Mervyn O'Callaghan says the investment will enable them to expand into different markets.

Barry Downes says Suir Valley have invested in 5 tech startups since March of this year.
