Waterford Local Enterprise Office set to host ‘Local at The Deanery' Pop-Up Shop during Winterval

Waterford's Local Enterprise Office is set to host their first pop up shop, ‘Local at The Deanery' this December offering a sales platform and showcase opportunity for a variety of Waterford based crafters, food producers, and artists.

‘Local at The Deanery' will open with a variety of 19 different crafts, food and drinks and art products at The Old Deanery in Cathedral Square on Friday, December 8th. The pop-up shop will open on weekends from there onwards until December 23rd.

Commenting on the initiative Richie Walsh Head of Enterprise at Waterford's Local Enterprise office said, "We are delighted to offer this platform to the variety of Waterford's crafts and food and drinks producers. At the local Enterprise Office, we work with and support a huge number of small to medium-sized business owners year-round, whose product is ideal for this type of festive showcase. It is an opportunity for the public to browse the very unique and top class crafts and food and drink products all produced right here in Waterford City and County and an excellent occasion to support local enterprise, jobs, and growth by shopping 100% local."

For the 2017 pop up, products from Sally Barry, Moonwood handmade Jewellery, Stephen Carr Handmade Wooden Products, Nicola Chestnutt prints and paintings, Karen Cottier Wild Oats Soaps, Orlaith Fitzgerald Loves and Fishes Christmas Decorations, Victoria Flanagan Copper Coast Skincare, Margaret Fleming Dessert First Christmas cakes, Sheila Galvin Clashganny Organic Farm, Shona McDonald Mireog cards, and gifts, Larry McCarthy Iconic pens, Beibhinn McGrath, BEIBHINN the clothing label, Keith McGrory Hightower product a selection of innovative paintings, Mags Noonan Liveeka healing creams, Martine O'Donovan artisan blanket chests and artwork, Trish O'Neill's handmade organic skincare, Michael Slattery Ember fire mats, Claire Trihy with Claire's Food and Drinks will all be on offer.

The pop-up shop is opening from Friday, December the 8th to Sunday, December 10th again from Friday, December 15th until Sunday, December 17th and again on Thursday and Friday, December 21st and 22nd, opening hours at 10 am to 4.30pm apart from Sunday's when the opening time is 12 noon.
