A second man has been arrested in connection with a stabbing incident in County Waterford in the early hours of yesterday morning.
A man in his thirties was seriously injured after being stabbed during a row between two men shorty after 3am on Keating Street in Dungarvan.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital Waterford where he underwent emergency surgery.
He is in a critical condition.
An 18 year old man arrested in connection with the incident early yesterday morning was released from custody in Dungarvan last night. A file will be forwarded to the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Another man in his mid twenties was arrested in Dungarvan last night and is being detained under section four of the criminal justice act.
