2017 was a big year for young Offaly group 'Chasing Abbey'. Teddy C, Ro and Bee recorded and released their debut single, That Good Thing, which shot to the top of the iTunes download chart within 24 hours of its release. Since then, they became the most listened to unsigned act on Irish radio and have just signed a global record deal with 3BeatUk and Universal Music.
On Friday, 12th Januray, they joined Teresanne on The Drive Home Live Sessions to talk about their unexpected success, their record deal and their plans for the future. They also performed acoustic versions of 'That Good Thing' and Talk To Me'.
Although their roots lie in traditional Irish music, Chasing Abbey's sound is a mix of pop, dance and rap.
