Liverpool make important statement according to Klopp

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp says his team has made an "important statement" with their 4-3 victory over Premier League leaders Manchester City at Anfield yesterday.

It was the Reds first game since Philippe Coutinho's departure to Barcelona.

City battled back from 4-1 down, but couldn't find a late equaliser and avoid their first top flight defeat of the season.

Klopp says it shows they can cope without Coutinho.

Manchester City are still 15 points clear at the top of the table.

Manager Pep Guardiola says it is important they bounce back quickly.

A 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth has left Arsenal without a win in 5 games.

The Gunners are now five points adrift of the Top 4.

Former Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert is now in the running for the post.

Kick off is at 8 o'clock.
