A Waterford Fianna Fail Councillor says his party leader Micheál Martin has shown great leadership after revealing his stance on abortion.
He told the Dáil last night he was in favour of repealing the 8th amendment and bringing in abortion without restriction for up to 12 weeks.
That's despite the majority of his party holding pro-life views.
Councillor James Tobin says the Country needs leadership on such an issue and he accused the Taoiseach Leo Varadker of ducking and diving. He said whether you agree or disagree with him party leaders should show leadership on issues such as this.
