Gardai in Waterford say they're aware of a video of two young women fighting in John Roberts Square on Friday afternoon.
As of 4pm on Monday, 141,000 people had watched the three minute video on facebook.
It shows two women punching, kicking and pulling each others hair as a group of women scream encouragement and shoppers walk by.
The incident happened in broad daylight.

A couple of bystanders intervened to try to break up the fight.
Gardai say they're following up on the incident.
