Gardai in Waterford City are investigating after a man in his 30s was stabbed this afternoon.
The incident happened on John Street at around 4.00pm.
The man received a wound to his head and was rushed to University Hospital Waterford.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

Gardai are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact Waterford Garda Station on 051 305300.
