Bray to face no charges after allegations of match fixing during Waterford match

The Football Association of Ireland has concluded its investigation into alleged match-fixing surrounding the friendly match between Bray Wanderers FC and Waterford FC last year.

Waterford won the game at the Carlisle Grounds 5-0 on Friday, September 8th. A complaint was received by the FAI and an investigation was launched within a week.

The match was also investigated by An Garda Siochana.

The FAI's investigation has found that there was insufficient evidence to bring any charges in relation to any breaches of FAI rules.
