Updated Wednesday Feb 28th 4.41pm: Suirway’s local commuter bus services in the Waterford area will NOT operate on Thursday March 1st or Friday March 2nd.
Bus services between Waterford and Dunmore East, Passage East and Portlaw will NOT operate due to impending Status Red Weather Warning issued by Met Eireann.
Operating conditions for Saturday look difficult at this stage but we will update customers as the local weather conditions unfold.
Earlier: Brian from the company has been in touch with us to let us know they won't run their services.
We're awaiting an update from Bus Eireann. The company's Twitter page has said it will close if an area is in a Red Alert weather warning zone.
However we're urging people not to travel unless absolutely necessary as road conditions are very hazardous following overnight snow.
