Spurs bow out of Champions League at Wembley

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino says they didn't deserve to be knocked out of the Champions League by Juventus.

They led 1-nil at Wembley, but conceded two quick goals in their last-16 second leg.

Spurs were beaten 2-1 on the night and 4-3 overall.

Pochettino says the Italian side were ruthless.

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola says he'll be pleased once it sinks in that they've qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals, but their performance against Basel simply wasn't good enough.

They lost 2-1 at home to the Swiss side in the second leg of their last-16 tie.

City were virtually through before kick-off having won the opening game 4-nil.
