An Bórd Pleanála have confirmed that a valid objection to the development plans for Waterford’s North Quays has been received and is under review.
It was stated by Waterford Council yesterday that an invalid objection had been received and was subsequently rejected.
However a spokesperson for the Planning Board has confirmed to WLR news in the past hour, that an objection was still being processed as of yesterday evening.
The details of the objection are not known, but will be made available early next week.
It’ll take up to 18 weeks or more for An Bórd Pleanála to make a decision and for the impact on the North Quays project to become clear.
