Gardai in Carrick-On-Suir have appealled for information in relation to missing teenager

Gardai in Carrick-On-Suir are continuing to appeal for information in relation to 14-year-old Elisha Gault, who was last seen in the town on St Patrick's Day.

Elisha is described as being 5' 10" to 6 foot in height with blue eyes and blonde hair.

Houses and business in the Carrickbeg/Dillon Bridge area are being asked to check their CCTV and there's also an appeal for motorists to check dashcam footage.

Speaking to WLR News, Sinn Féin Councillor for the area David Dunne said that a multi-agency search is underway.

"All the emergency services, the gardaí, civil defense, coastguard, the helicopters, everybody is out and the community are doing their best to support them," he said.

He appealed for any young person who may know anything to come forward.

"No one will get in trouble," he said, "just tell anybody what you know - even if you think it's trivial - just pass it through to emergency services and they will follow up all leads."

Anyone with information can contact Carrick-On-Suir Garda Station on 051 642 040.
