The International Viking Roadshow and Festival are made possible by Waterford Treasures’ membership of an EU-funded marketing co-operative Follow the Vikings, the financial support of Fáilte Ireland, Ireland’s Ancient East and of Waterford City and County Council and the enthusiastic support of the people of Waterford who are so proud of their Viking heritage.

Waterford's International Viking Festival is continuing this afternoon. There's archery at Deevys Parnell Street, shieldwall battles in the People's Park, re-enactments beside Bishop's Palace and storytelling in Cathedral Square.

The Troula Drummers/Fire-breathers and Jugglers from Galicia in Spain also retuen to Bailey's New Street at 3.00pm. They entertained the crowds yesterday despite the rain. Pictures by Noel Browne.
