Waterford FC host league leaders and champions at the RSC this evening

The RSC is set to hold another record crowd this evening as Waterford FC take on Cork City in a much anticipated Airtricty league Premier Division encounter.

The Blues would go top of the table with against the champions who have made a strong start to their title defence.

The Leesiders got the better of Waterford 2-nil when the sides met in their first league game in February.

Waterford FC's Derek Daly says it's been a great start to the season.

Derek says tonight's clash against the champions is massive.

Derek Daly told WLR Sport that Waterford have learned a lot from the last time they faced Cork.

The club would also ask that all home fans arrive early to the ground to avoid congestion at the entry points into the ground.

Kick off in tonight's game is 7.45pm with gates opening at 6.30pm

Elsewhere this evening, Dundalk are without injured keeper Gary Rogers for the visit of Shamrock Rovers to Oriel Park.

Bohemians play host to the side directly beneath them in the top tier - that's Limerick.

While winless Bray go to St. Pat's.
