Blues hoping to maintain excellent home form as Sligo Rovers roll into town this evening

Waterford FC will bid to preserve their 100% home record when Sligo Rovers visit the RSC this evening in the Airtricity League Premier Division.

The Blues have recorded eight wins at the Kilbarry venue, including six from six six in the league along with two EA Sports Cup victories including last Monday's dramatic penalty shoot-out win over Cork City.

Waterford bounced back in the legaue last week with a comfortable 3-nil win over basement side Bray.

The Blues have already recorded a win over Sligo when they claimed a 2-nil victory at the Showgrounds last month thanks to a late winner.

Waterford FC boss Alan Reynolds says it's another big game.

Speaking after Monday's Cup win over Cork City, Alan told WLR Sport his side showed a great level of fitness.

Alan says his sides will be hoping to maintain their fine form at home but it's something he doesn't think too much about.

The Lilywhites - at the very least - will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Derry City will look to extend their unbeaten run to 8 top flight games when a woefully out-of-form Shamrock Rovers visit the Brandywell.

Bohemians will look to exact some revenge over St. Pat's at Richmond Park tonight - Liam Buckley's side were 1-nil winners at Dalymount in March.

And the bottom two meet at the Carlisle Grounds as Bray entertain Limerick.
