Blues hoping to get back in track away to Bohs this evening

Waterford FC will make their first return to Dalymount Park to take on Bohemians in the Airtricity league Premier Division this evening since losing 1-0 back in 2007.

The Blues did win the most recent meeting between the two sides in the league this season as a lone goal from Sander Puri gave Alan Reynolds outfit all three points and his side will be hoping to get back to winning ways after dropping two points at home to Sligo Rovers on Friday night last.

Reynolds will have to do without the services of Gavan Holohan and Dave Webster through suspension while John Kavanagh is ruled out through injury with Kenny Browne rated as highly doubtful after suffering a back injury in last Friday’s game against Sligo.

Waterford midfielder Faysel Kasmi says they'll be keen to bounce back after Friday's draw.

Speaking after Friday's draw at home to Sligo Alan Reynolds, the Blues manager says they will be down a few key players this evening.

Alan says the new midfield pairing will take a while to gel together.

Elsewhere this evening, Cork City can pile the pressure on the under fire Shamrock Rovers head coach Stephen Bradley later.

The Hoops are winless in their last 6 outings in the league ahead of the visit of the champions.

Dundalk can close the gap on the leaders by beating St Patrick's Athletic.

Derry could end the night in third place if they can beat Limerick.

Sligo can move out of the bottom two by beating fellow strugglers Bray Wanderers.
