Gardai in Waterford are investigating a robbery at the Applegreen Petrol Station, on the Cleaboy Road last night.
Two males entered the store at around 9.45pm.
The first male brandished an axe and the second had a wheel brace.
They demanded money from staff. A small amount of cash was handed over. They then fled to a waiting car which had two other males on board.

Gardai were alerted and a short time later they came across the car in the St. Johns Park area and all occupants were arrested.
All 4 are being detained at Waterford Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act
The four are local, three of them are Juveniles. Nobody was injured in the incident.
