Déise footballers travel to Semple Stadium to tackle Tipperary this evening in opening round of the Munster Senior Football Championship

Waterford and Tipperary go head to head in the opening round of the Munster Senior Football Championship this evening.

The Déise panel hase been depleted with a number of players ruled out through injury and not being able to make themselves available.

Despite this, Tom McGlinchey has drafted in players to strengthen the panel and the Déise boss is urging supporters to travel to Semple Stadium this evening.

Waterford recorded one win in their Division 4 league campaign, defeating Loondon in the final round, while the Premier county narrowly missed out on promotion to the top flight.
