Munster have confimed that Waterford's Jack O'Donoghue has undergone surgery on his knee.
The back-row forward sustained a knee ligament injury in the Pro 14 semi-final against Leinster earlier this month.
The 24 year old underwent the operation last week following consultation with a specialist and is expected to follow a long-term rehabilitation programme.
