A disused hotel in the centre of Tramore has become a home for rats.
That’s according to local Independent Councillor Joe Conway.
He says the local authority needs to take action on the privately owned Grand Hotel: “You’ve these beautiful stained glass windows and they’re all smashed. Down underneath it, running around the base of the building is a line of rat holes. I know our hands are tied with the people who own it but surely we can’t stand over rat infestation in the middle of our town, the county’s biggest town, a tourist hub – it’s a disgrace.”
