Thrilling victory for Déise Minor hurlers who record their second win of the campaign

Subs David Byrne and Gavin Corbett struck injury time goals as the Waterford minors picked up their second win of the Munster championship against Limerick at the Gaelic Grounds this afternoon (2-17 to 1-13).

Waterford lead by three, 0-10 to 0-7 at the interval.

Speaking to WLR Sport after the game, Déise boss Gary Morahan says it was real panel effort.

Gary says Limerick did get their dominant spell midway throughout the second period.

Gary says it was his sides best performance of the Championship to date.

Waterford have now four points on the board and are in a good position to make the top two heading into next weekend's final group game against Cork in Thurles.
