A Waterford Men's Shed is in the final of a national competition designed to show how the sheds contribute to communities and their members.
Waterford Estuary Men's Shed, which was only set-up in February, has designed and built an art work entitled 'By Hook or by Crook'.
They are asking people in Waterford to vote for them through facebook for the people's choice award.
Noel Shanaghy is secretary of Waterford Estuary Men's Shed.
He says they are in the final 40 of the competition. While the first two prizes will be selected by judges in Mullingar on Wednesday, the third prize is by popular vote. Deadline for voting is Tuesday lunchtime.
Noel says they have tough competition and is appealing for people to support them.
