The electoral boundaries within the county of Waterford are set to be changed.
The Local Electoral Area Boundary Committee report has been published and recommends the loss of a seat in the Comeragh area.
The Comeragh district will be reduced from six seats to five and renamed Portlaw-Kilmacthomas.
Meanwhile the eight seater Dungarvan-Lismore electoral area will be split into two districts.
Dungarvan will now have six councillors, with three for Lismore.
The current Metropolitan area comprising Waterford City and Tramore is unchanged and will continue to have 18 councillors, spread across three districts.
The overall number of councillors, 32, will remain unchanged.
