Clonea Strand was the venue for the much anticipated Dungarvan Triathlon last Saturday, the event which sold out a number of weeks ago saw over 500 registered to race on the day between Sprint and Olympic distances. Paul O' Gorman who is a committee member with Dungarvan Triathlon Club joined Gavin to reflect on a wonderful event.
Richard Finnegan of Gaultier GAA Club joined us on the show to look ahead to their over-35's unique football tournament happening at the end of the month, this promises to be a brilliant day out!
Our Athletics correspondent Fintan Walsh, reflected on a wonderful few days for West Waterford's Joe Gough who claimed two gold medals at the World Masters Championships in Spain, we also looked back at Dublin making it two in a row in the All-Ireland ladies football Final at Croke Park.
