Ardmore will remain in the top flight for next season
Ardmore retained their senior football status after a comprehensive 2-14 to 1-6 win against Dungarvan at Fraher Field last night.
James Kennedy netted twice for the Seasiders while Sean Barron, David Gartland and Niall Hennessy also played starring roles.
Dungarvan led by five points after 29 minutes but failed to score during the second half and drop down to the intermediate ranks for 2019.
There's action today at both ends of the county, Walsh Park plays host to an Eastern double header.
De La Salle and Mount Sion clash in the Junior 'B' semi-final at 2pm, and that'll be followed at 3:45pm by the Intermediate football Quarter-Final between Bunmahon and Tramore.
There's two games in the Co. Minor hurling Championship, Naomh Bríd and Tramore clash in the Division 2 Quarter-Final in Colligan, while in the Division 3 semi-final Kilrossanty take on Erin's Own in Kill.
Both games are underway at 4pm.
