Statement from University Hospital Waterford - 16th October 2018
University Hospital Waterford is experiencing extraordinary demand today (16th October) on its Emergency Department services and is addressing the emergency needs presenting to the best of its ability. Hospital management is asking people to think about all their care and treatment options and keep the ED services for the patients who need them most.
University Hospital Waterford (UHW) is asking the public to make full use of GP and Primary Care services so that ED services are retained for those most in need.
The management at UHW apologises for any inconvenience caused.
