Strong winds and heavy rain forecast for Waterford

Another yellow wind warning is in place in Waterford.

Gusts of between 90 and 100km an hour are forecast this evening and overnight until 4:00am.

Heavy rain is also forecast later with accumulations of up to 40mm likely between 7:00pm this evening and 7:00am tomorrow morning.

Waterford Weather is predicting that Waterford may experience stronger winds than Storm Deirdre over the weekend.
