As the advertising marketplace becomes increasingly centralised with the focus on Dublin, the station, in partnership with all other local radio stations, has their own national advertising company,IRS. Constant training in Sales and Copy Writing as well as multimedia presentations and their own biannual news bulletin for advertisers all form part of an integrated and comprehensive service. As advertising is no longer merely a case of deciding specific slots for advertisements but in many cases involves taking a complete overview of the exact advertising aims of any particular company and creating an entire package to maximise those aims, whether it be through traditional radio advertising, sponsorships, competitions, promotions or outside broadcasts.
