Thursday, March 27th 2008Taxi drivers in Waterford City say tomorrows planned two hour stoppage will continue everyFriday until extra spaces are provided.They say an extra hour of protest will be added if the dispute continues. Taxi drivers held a mass meeting last night following strike action over the weekend.Spokesman Noel McLawrence says that there are hundreds of taxi licences now operating in Waterford, but not enough spaces on the ranks in the city centre. |
