Waterford Fine Gael Senator Paidi Coffey says he believes Enda Kenny will remain on as leader for the next few months.

Waterford Councillor Liam Brazil says while Enda Kenny has served both the country and the party well he feels it's time for him to go.

For him, there's two potential leaders, but he would be leaning towards Simon Coveney.

Simon Coveney, along with Leo Varadkar, has been attempting to calm backbenchers who want the Taoiseach to depart within days.
