This Crowded House: RTÉ2 is looking for adult children still living in the family home

Are you in your 20s, 30s or even 40s and living with your parents? Or are you a parent who’s got an adult son or daughter in the house who still hasn't flown the nest?

RTÉ2 is recruiting participants for a new series ‘This Crowded House*’ which explores the not-so-unusual situation of adults living at home with their parents and the options that the ‘boomerang generation’ has.

With high rents and a shortage of properties to buy, the series will explore the realities of being stuck at home – both for the grown-up child and for their parents. It's not always easy to move out of the family home. The series contributors will offer expert advice to the participants, whether they would like to rent their own place, house-share, or if they are seeking to buy.

This Crowded House* comes at a time when living at home is the new norm. Nearly 1 in 4 Irish adults between 25 and 34 are still living at home.

If you think you'd like to apply, there's an application form here: http://www.rte.ie/tv/audienceparticipation/thiscrowdedhouse.html, or you can email crowdedhouse@indiepics.ie, or call 01 7088162 to find out more.
