De Bromhead wins Champion Chase at Cheltenham
There was a huge victory for Waterford's Henry de Bromhead on Day 2 of Cheltenham.

Special Tiara has taken a shock victory in the feature race, the Queen Mother Champion Chase, as hot favourite Douvan was never on the pace.

Special Tiara led from start to finish to win at a price of 11-to-1. Fox Norton was second for Colin Tizzard at 7-to-1, with 33-to-1 shot Sir Valentino in third.

Henry de Bromhead says it's amazing and that he is so pleased for everyone involved. "For our lad it's amazing, he just tried his heart out and no horse deserves it more in my opinion."

Henry de Bromhead previously won the Champion Chase with Sizing Europe, he said "any day you win a grade one in Cheltenham it's an amazing day and to do it with this horse, my uncle and aunt bred him, and for Sally it's just brilliant."
