Waterford footballers suffer third successive league defeat
The Waterford footballers suffered their third league defeat in a row last night as Carlow prevailed by 2-10 to 0-7 at Netwatch Cullen Park.

The home team had a three point lead at the break after Paul Broderick fired in an early goal.

Broderick added his second on 40 minutes to clinch the points for Turlough O'Brien's side.

Manager Tom McGlinchey has admitted that it will be difficult to keep his players motivated for the last two rounds of the league, with promotion now out of reach.
