The new president of Waterford Chamber of Commerce says the formation of the new Waterford Independent Traders Group may be down to discontent with the Chamber.
The group was set up to represent the interests of some of the small businesses in the city
and it's understood some of them have withdrawn their membership from the Chamber.
Paul McDaid who was installed in his new position last night says the Chambers Retail Committee
is willing to work with everyone.
