This morning widespread rain will clear northeastwards with brighter and drier weather to follow from the southwest. Some of the rain could still turn heavy or possibly thundery for a time. It will be a fresher and cooler day with top temperatures between 15 and 19 degrees and light winds become moderate westerly later.
Tonight will be dry with clear spells. It will turn cooler with temperatures falling to between 7 and 9 degrees in a light north to northwesterly breeze.
