The founder of a Waterford based waste collection company says pay-by-weight collections will give people an incentive to recycle.
Under the new changes, all flat rates are to be scrapped with customers paying based on the weight of their bins or by lift frequency.
John O'Connor is the co-founder of Kollect.ie
He says it will mean more and more people will seprate their rubbish correctly.
