Manager confirms Daryl Murphy is on his way out of Newcastle.

Newcastle United manager Rafa Benitez has confirmed Waterford's Daryl Murphy is on his way out of the Club.

Daryl scored six goals in their Championship-winning campaign.

A number of Championship outfits, including his former club Sunderland, are being linked to the Irish striker having a year to run on his contract.

Benitez said they have been chatting at training in recent days and Daryl knows that if a club comes in, he will go on a permanent transfer, once the deal is best for him and the club.
