Tramore tennis player aims high

A Waterford tennis player says her aim is to win the Irish Open next year.

Tramore born Sinead Lohan made it to the final at the Fitzwilliam Club last week following sucessful European tournaments but lost out in the final to England's Jodie Anna Burrage 7-5, 6-4.

Sinead had picked up a stomach injury in Portugal the previous week.

The 22 year old is currently completing her last year of education in the University of Miami.

She says trying to get sponsorship is proving extremely difficult as she strives to make it on to the full tour in the future.
