Two Waterford FC underage sides are in action as part of a double header at the RSC today

The Waterford Under 19 team will play Shamrock Rovers in the quarter final of the Shield at the RSC at 1pm today.

The Blues have been in good form in recent months and he recorded some excellent results.

Paul Cashin the Waterford coach says Shamrock Rovers will be tough nut to crack.

He is happy that all of the Blues players are available for selection.

The Waterford FC Under 17 team return to action this afternoon when they play Dundalk in the quarter final of the Elite Under 17 League at the RSC at 4pm.

To date they have won the Southern Section of the league and they were also crowned cup champions two weeks ago,

The Blues manager John Furlong says if his young team were to go on and complete the treble it would be a dream come true.
